P7A had a great day despite the horrendous weather as they visited the Scottish Parliament last week. The children had in-depth tour and even had a special visit from Maisie’s mum in Primary 6 who works as a lawyer in the Parliament. A huge thanks to her and all the staff for a great day!
On Friday Primary 7 visited the main Edinburgh University campus to see what an average day of a student is like. We had great fun in our history and philosophy lectures and got to use some fantastic resources. A huge thanks to Dr Neil Spiers for organising our visit. It has given lots of us huge inspiration!
Thank You to everyone who came along to our nursery Burns supper yesterday. We had a fantastic turn out, and it was lovely to see everyone getting involved and joining in the Scottish celebrations.
We have have been very interested in finding out about Robert Burns, and have looked at some of his poems and songs. We were so inspired by all of his hard work that we all became authors and created our own book! Well done everyone!
To celebrate the end of our topic on ‘World War II and Conflict’, P7 had a 1940s school day then got together to celebrate VE Day. We sang wartime songs, ate rationed food (corned beef sandwiches!!!) and danced a jitterbug. We had a great time and everyone participated with great enthusiasm!
Primary 5A have had a tremendous year at Craigour Park. Best of luck for the future kids. Here’s a look at some of your best memories!
