Last Friday some of the elite members of Running Club went a mammoth run that took in the Royal Infirmary, the rope park and Craigmillar Castle before school had even begun. We had an amazing time and had an impromptu dance after coming across a Spanish lady playing some music at the top of the hill. Check it out!
Running Club can be a scary sight for many at the best of times but Friday really took it to the next level. A selection of scary creatures descended on the streets and parks of South of Edinburgh for a great run before school. Keep up the great running kids!
Starting this Friday Craigour Park will be hosting two running clubs. We’re aiming to get as many children as possible running every Friday morning. Last year, as a whole school we ran 1000 miles for Sport Relief! Let’s keep it folks!
Our Running Clubs will take place as follows:
P2-4 Run with Mum/Dash with Dad 8-8.30am on the Astroturf
P5-7 Running Club 7.45-8.30am meet at the dinner hall doors for a run in our local community
Due to the number of pupils at Craigour Park Primary School, P2-4s MUST be accompanied by an adult.
We’re hoping to include our new Primary 1s in our running clubs however this will take place later in the year.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday!
