P2 Karate Fun

Both P2 classes were lucky enough to have a visit from a local karate school today and enjoyed trying out some new moves! The instructors were full of praise for how well the children listened and behaved so a big thumbs up to everyone!

1A are Fast as Lightening!

Today p1a and Miss Read took part in a Karate taster session put on by one of our local clubs. Chris and his dad Dave showed us some fantastic moves and we even learned some of the words.

We had so much fun! Each child took home a leaflet to join the club and have an Active Schools sign up sheet in their bags from yesterday. The first four classes are free! Miss Read can confirm that EVERYONE in p1a thoroughly enjoyed themselves when trying out Karate.

Great work everyone and thank you so much to Chris and Dave!

P2A Winners!

Well done P2A, you won the trophy today for having the most children ( and family members ) cycling and scooting to school over the last two weeks. A great effort by all and a lovely way to end the term. Hopefully you will continue cycling and scooting after the holidays too!

A big thank you, I am really proud of you!

Bike Breakfast Postponed! Red Nose Day Bike Breakfast Created!

Attention

The weather tomorrow morning is supposed to be pretty bad, so we’re postponing the Bike and Scooter breakfast until Friday 24th March (this Friday) which is also Red Nose day. Please come from 8am onwards for some bike and scooter fun and games and some free breakfast. If you normally come to running club – please just come and join in with the biking and scooting.

Thank you to everyone who has biked and scooted to school so far this week. You have to be a pretty special person to bike or scoot in the snow (and have pretty special parents who help you too).

Thank you,

J Mowbray
