In groups, the boys and girls in P1B were challenged to decorate a Christmas tree…the results are fab!
Well done everyone 😊
Primary one have been learning about sorting in their maths lessons. We got into groups and were given a set of items that we had to sort by a certain criteria! Everyone worked really well and had great fun. Well done P1!
As part of our Natural Disasters topic we studied earthquakes this week. We did two experiments. We worked in teams to create structures that would survive an earthquake. We also built our own seismographs to discover how they measure earthquakes. Great team work P6/7!
Mellissa from the School of Ancient Crafts came to visit us and taught us how to spin wool from a sheep skin. We had a great day and learned how to card and spin wool with hand spinners.
WP6/7 studied pirates this week as part of our Social Studies topic. We looked at famous pirate ships and some Scottish pirates.
We worked in table groups to create these amazing pirate ships. We had to create the ship and the crew. We evaluated each other’s work afterwards. Great team work!
