This week in our Game Behaviour Games lesson with P6 we looked at something else which can make us frustrated and angry. Sometimes in games we don’t get passed to, don’t get to have our say, it feels like we’re not part of the game.
So we played some inclusive games where everyone had to take part to achieve the goal of the game.
Well done to Miss McGregor, Miss Kennedy, Miss Canning, Miss Foster, Mr Souden, Mr Munro and Mr McIntyre who created these games for the P6s. Genius . . .
P7 have been playing lots of abstract games this term to help us play through our sporting code. Yesterday we played Mario Karts, a game to help us with our sporting code and to incentivise running.
What a game!
Here’s the brand new P7s in the gym hall yesterday. We played lots of cooperative games and focused on the communication needed to solve all the problems. We also had a bit of fun.
P7B have been doing some Christmas reset! Lots of thinking and cooperating on a Winter’s afternoon!
Here’s P7a this morning playing a seasonally themed game of Reset.
Sometimes when we play games they just aren’t fair and this can lead to a few arguments. Maybe the teams aren’t fair, or the rules don’t seem fair.
This week P7 played some games and ran some races that weren’t fair.
Did we give up, or did we show some determination and resilience, some true GRIT and try our hardest under the challenging circumstances?
