P2/3 have been studying Vincent Van Gogh’s life and artworks. Everyone has created a stunning paint and pastel sunflower picture, check out our art gallery iMovie.
This week in Primary 7 we have been designing our very own resilience superheroes to promote resilience across the school. The children thought about resilience means to them and came up with a huge word bank to help describe to others what a resilience superhero would demonstrate. We then uploaded our photos to comic caption and created a comic style picture with our ideas. Check out some of our work here!
In P2A this week, we have been talking a lot about being resilient and not giving up too easily. To demonstrate the ups and downs in a day, we made some art work showing a river which may be calm or may have obstacles in your way. The children used all their own ideas and chose their own resources to make these great pictures. Well done everyone!
To celebrate the end of our topic on ‘World War II and Conflict’, P7 had a 1940s school day then got together to celebrate VE Day. We sang wartime songs, ate rationed food (corned beef sandwiches!!!) and danced a jitterbug. We had a great time and everyone participated with great enthusiasm!
