P3b have been learning colours and numbers in Spanish. They put their knowledge to the test by completing a word search and colour matching activity all in Spanish.
P4A have been enjoying learning about Spain from customs in the country to the language. Have a look at our work.
We had fun listening and watching Spanish cartoons, singing songs to learn numbers, playing games to practise colours and practising the Spanish language with partners around our classroom. We ended our week by sharing our learning with other classes. Now we all want to go to Spain to practise our words!
Last week we were revising our colours in French and did well to put this into practise by learning to sing the ‘Rainbow Song’ in French. Well done everyone and it sounded lovely on our bus journeys home last week!!
We have a special guest at Craigour Park for the next 3 months…señora Zapata from Madrid! She will be working with each class to teach some Spanish and learn about life in a Scottish school.
Today she came to P1B and taught us how to sing heads, shoulders, knees and toes in Spanish – cabeza, hombros, rodillas, pies!
