Yesterday Primary 5A completed the last of their 8 swimming lessons at Gracemount Leisure Centre. The progress made by the children over the last few months has been exceptional and every one of them should be proud of themselves. The pupils represented our school brilliantly gaining a number of compliments from members of the public and leisure centre staff.
Today the pupils were presented with their certificates of achievement with the swimming instructors passing on these kind words via email:
“Mrs Cameron and Mr Mowbray need to know what a credit this class has been to the school. Always very punctual and always very well presented.”
“We just know we are going to have a good lesson with such a fantastic starting point every week. Well done P5A”
“We are very pleased with the progress made by all pupils and we hope they all continue to go swimming in their spare time.”
Primary 5A and Mr Mallon would like to say a massive thank you to Mrs Thomson, Mrs Berry and Mrs McCarthy for their great work with the kids over the last few weeks. We would also like to say a huge thanks to Miss Stewart and the parent helpers who walked with the children and helped at Gracemount every week.
