Primary 2 make an Impression – Part One

This week in Primary 2 the children were looking at Vincent van Gogh’s famous painting, The Starry Night. Then they painted their palettes blue and gray (and green and yellow) and set about starting their own versions.  Next week they are going to use the shapes which they cut out in their maths lessons on 2D shape to add the buildings at the bottom of the picture. The original in the Museum of Modern Art in New York is probably worth $100m, but we think our versions are priceless.
